Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went down the river on a sunset cruise which was really good and only takes an hour or so it was really worth it even if the weather wasn’t great

We stayed opposite with a river view - busy towpath - lots of boat traffic - handy ferry with a number of stops including Hastings street - lots of good restuarants in the area - we had a great week here and will be going again.

Obviously, the best way to appreciate the Noosa River is to hire a boat etc and spend an hour or so cruising the waterway,
.
We hired a boat for two hours from U-Drive in Noosaville, ($130) and spent the time cruising down through the Noosa Sound, across to North Beach and then meandering up-river, past the Noosa Marina, before returning to the jetty.
A wonderful, relaxing and enjoying experience.
The best alternative and access to the River is to walk the Noosaville river foreshore between the Noosa Rowing & Yacht Club and the end of Gympie Terrace (nearly 2 km in length).
Between these two points there are 8 wharves/jetties from which you can hire a range of water craft, catch the Noosa Ferry (3 pick-up points) and purchase tickets for excursions on the river, and beyond. Morning coffee available at most wharves.
The Foreshore has numerous BBQ’s and covered seating. It is a very popular walking venue along the river, with families etc taking advantage of the river by swimming and wading.
This Foreshore provides people with the opportunity to interact and appreciate the River in all its beauty,
.
Sunrise and sunset along the River is spectacular.

Walk by the river, let the kids run free in the pirate playground, take a free ride (sunset is the best) or go for a dip in calm water - Noosa river ticks all boxes for a relaxing family day out

Walking beside the Noosa River. Lots of holiday river activities, kayaks, stand-up boards, boats. Magic drinking prosecco at river Barefoot restaurant as twilight falls.

Beautifully clean waterfront space with sand for kids to play on. Many people were fishing. Boat hires galore, amongst other activities. Lots of bench seats and bins. And the.n on the other side of the river is a superb choice of restaurants and cafes. Hastings street is overrated and there is no where to park. We felt we nailed it along Gympie terrace. Just superb.

We walked along the Noosa River almost every day of our holidays at a different time of the day. The walk is relaxed, the food cafes and restaurants are very good. We also bought fish and chips at the Boat House and on Friday nights at 6pm listened to the great live music at the front of the Boat House. We had a nice chance to dance to our old favorite songs.

The Noosa River offered great views and easy access for paddling. The variety of properties to view while on the ferry made the trip interesting.
