According to our guide it was damaged by a super typhoon last year. We can view around the satellite discs and other equipments lying on the ground. The upper portion of the tower was already torn down.

it is situated at the hilltop. One of the radars were also destroyed by the strong typhoon. My tour guide informed me that it houses the last weather station in the north.

We visited this weather station during our tour with Busumi Tours and it is located in Barangay Chanarian-Tukon in Basco. It does look a bit run down and could do with some maintenance. Surround views of the ocean and green countryside is spectacular.
