As an Izmirian, it was great to look at the Aegean Sea from this side. Down the street, the shops and the ambiance were very nice.

Molivos is a small but very lovely town. There are very few places and cAstle is one of them. You can visit every month of the year. But if you are visiting in december, you should get windstopper clothes. Because its very very windy. But castle is highly recommend beacuse of its view and history .. Cheers Ernur

The castle is at the top of the village, a steady climb on cobbled streets if this is too difficult for you an easier option is to catch the little train which will take you up the back way. The castle is a ruin but it is worth visiting for the wonderful panoramic views.

You can drive upwards (behind the castle) and get quite close to it. Pram/wheelchair access is difficult. You can also walk up to the castle through the city but there are... More

This castle is especially worth visiting because of the panorama over the Egeic sea towards Petra and Turkey. The castle is in rather good shape, but the written history is more interesting than the stones. We experienced random closing times, with unclear reasons (restauration work ?), but it would be more friendly to announce this at the start of the... More
