Beautiful little church located in the stunning village of Santa Bárbara de Nexe near Faro. A lovely place to visit if you are interested in architecture and history. Very pretty place.

We had an amazing view of the church from where we were staying, hearing the bells chime was so lovely- we did see a wedding taking place- also called a couple of times hoping to look round, sadly doors locked-will try again on our next visit.

My wife and boys attended Sunday service and found it to be a pleasant rural church. My wife's only comment was that there was nowhere to light a candle.
