Played this back in the day and so surprised to see the course has hardly changed at all despite massive urbanization of the area with some real fancy dan villas.....course in fantastic condition with fairways that just set the hall up for you....great day

A well known course in the Algarve and I would say the course lived up to its reputation. Very good layout and condition. Never had bad lie on fairways, tees were average and greens were smooth but not overly fast. The course had a different...More

This was our first day of golf in Portugal 2017 The course was in excellent condition but I was a little disappointed with the sand in the bunkers, there was lots of stones in them as well. The views are stunning and the course was...More

The only reason San Lorenzo course is thought to be so good, is because San Lorenzo tell you it is, with no reason at all. The staff were offhand, bordering on rude (particularly the guy in the shop booking us in), the course was looking...More

I went in this restaurant with a group of friends for try the kitchen and I can say that the service and the waiters was better than the food. It's. Not bad but nothing special

If you're not a guest at Dona Filipa expect to pay a lot €160 and more for buggies. As a hotel guest it is a great value course. If not I think there are better options. The layout is challenging and there is a lot...More

It is some years since I last played San Lorenzo. The course was generally in good condition albeit the greens were quite slow. The course has some great holes with the last two being exceptional. The staff are particularly helpful and efficient. The quality of...More

San Lorenzo has always been one of the top courses In Portugal, but on our return we were extremely disappointed in the condition. The clubhouse and surrounding areas were looking tired. And the once great course is still a fantastic layout, but in urgent need...More

I was so looking forward to playing "the second best golf course in Europe". Thank heavens I got a great deal as I was staying in the Dona Filipa Hotel which owns the course. Anyone who pays almost 200 euros to play this place would...More

It's included if you stay at the Dona Filipe but circa 140 Euros if you just pitch up to the golf course.

I am intending returning to San Lorenzo next March with my 7 colleagues but the recent reviews show that they have made no progress with the state of the buggies or anything else for that matter since last year. Will the Club please assure us that this will be rectified before our visit. If not we will probably go elsewhere.
