Beautiful transparent water....many falls

Worth a trip. Park costs $15-18pp but includes free bus to top lake. Many falls, long hike suggest starting in middle as best lakes are at bottom.

Youll like Plitvice any time of year, but it will be hard to enjoy if you dislike long walks, but once you reach this Plitvice gem youll find that your walk was worth an effort. Absolutely beautiful.

A dream come true

I count it a privilege to have been able to visit Croatia but an even greater privilege to have visited this beautiful National Park. It was an effort to drive here but worth every kilometre.

Where does all the water come from?

With all the falls here it makes you wonder where all this water comes from. Being curious I Googled it and found that it comes from a river or several rivers. Makes sense as there are no huge mountains with melting snow.

The Pevalekovi Slapovi are among the numerous waterfalls in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. They are beautiful and worth seeing.
