Lovely secluded beach, completely different to the commercial playa vista and los cristianos beaches. Visited on a motorbike. Couldn’t see any signs for ‘La Tejita Beach’ on the TF1 the motorway so follow signs and come off at ‘El Medano’ and you will see signs...More

It's very clean, large, lovely to swim in as no rocks to stumble across like much of the island. If you fancy a break from swimming you can take a walk up mount roja which is beside the beach. Generally seems very safe. We left...More

We truly unwinded at this beach, no sales people bugging you every minute, no music noise or screaming kids... yeah half of the beach is nudist, but the relax is 100% guaranteed. Bring your own food and beverage. Beach umbrellas and chairs are available.

Stayed in the area for two weeks. Playa Tejita, nice beach, easy to get to. Clothing optional although the further you walk to the end the less clothing you see. During the summer months I’m sure this place is packed.

Recommend a morning view when it gets more quiet and not so crowdy. With a morning look to Montaña Roja.

If you like a huge beach in its natural state, sided by a cool mountain where you can easily hike, with no hotels nearby this is the spot. It has some parking but many people park beside the road, it has no restaurants or bars...More

Very windy therefore the waves are huge. No shade unfortunately. There are beds and umbrellas to rent. Long beach, worth to try it.
