Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well kept traditional house. The lady was very friendly and chatted about some of the pieces with us. Good value and worth a visit.

This was our second visit to this property, this time a very pleasant and very knowledgable lady was on hand to show us around and explain the various artifacts on display which we did not have on our first visit. This is an excellent look back into how islanders lived not all that long ago, the house was last occupied by a family in 1953. This is a nice little detour if you are travelling around the Island and well worth spending half an hour getting a small feel of Island life. Admission is only €1 and certainly well worth it.

Visited this little house as it was a stop on the Island Tour. Entry fee was only 1€. The house looks tiny from the outside but quite spacious inside with lots of interesting things to see. Definately worth a visit.

Here you get a close look at how a better-off family in Central Kos lived a couple of generations ago.

Looks tiny outside - but somewhat bigger whe you come inside. You just really get a feeling of going back in time entering this house. The reseptionist was more than willing to guide us.You'll need 15-30 minutes.

Did'nt look like they get many visitors - even it was the middle of July. Honarable that they have made this museum out in the wilderness. We loved it!

We found this little museum by accident, it's beside the Antimachia windmill so it's convenient too. The house looks tiny from the outside but is deceptively large inside. Great examples of furnishings and simple rooms with photos of various families.
It's also refreshingly cool.
