Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Time stood still in the 60s. No development, no bars with blimps to remind me that I'm on vacation, no Greeks.
Nature and man in summer ... this. Great seabed for endless hours with the mask and snorkel. Open horizon without the sheet metal of boats and the smell of their gasoline. The five-minute descent from the path gives you only pleasure. Those who take the car to go across the street to the kiosk, better choose another destination.

Just enjoy the peace of that special "beach". Hard to describe, just go and feel the difference. No beach bar, no water. Just take along what you need for a couple hours and take everything back with you. Keep it clean and special!

A quarter of a century ago, when I saw cover page of some brochures about Pelion first thought was - some kind of photomontage.
So, I promised myself I would go there and see it in reality.
Years have passed... Tale of the various places, towns, landscapes ... but this picture was not fading.
Finally - I stood and watched from the road above.
Nearby were two ladies, Parisians.
Good way to check. Is it just me the one who sees that beauty...
No, we shared the same excitement.
What to say? It's difficult to transfer all impressions.
I finally found what I'll buy when I win a lottery.

A few days ago we made a boat trip to Tzasteni. If you don't have your own boat, you can hop on a boat at the port of Milina who take sightseeing tours in the bay and they also visit this beautiful tiny village. The beach is quiet and beautiful and it's great for swimming and diving. I will remember this bay for a long time!

After you pass Milina, driving towards Trikeri, you will see numerous bays with beautiful blue-green waters. Tzasteni is the one with a couple of houses on the northern edge.
You will leave your car on the side of the road -there will probably be some cars already parked there- and walk down the path. It is a stony beach with some shade under the olive trees. If you stay late you will enjoy a beautiful sunset and a sky full of stars as there are no lights around. Have a pocket-light with you for the way back to the car.
No facilities on the beach

This is a small beach on the gulf side of Pelion, vis a vis to a hamlet inside the water. Swimming is like in a swumming pool of crystal clear water. When we were there there were maybe 5 people.
No food no drinks ! If you live tranquillity you'll love it!

What a wonderful place! Probably one of the nicest beaches in Western Pelion. A picturesque beach with clear and peaceful water - perfect for adults and kids as well. It has no facilities, but there are few olive trees around to offer shade. No bar or restaurant, which is also the advantage of the place which makes it more quite and tranquil. Definitely wort the trip south.

Probably one of the most beautiful and peaceful beach in Pelion, located at 20 km of the south of Milina. You will have to follow a path walking about 5 minutes.

One of the most amazing places in the region, with fabulous emerald color water and a serene atmosphere.
But this year a lot of people learned about it and noisy crowds literally invaded the two small beaches.
Kids screaming, parents shouting at them to eat or sleep or play, Brits and Germans drinking beers and loudly enjoying themselves turned this gem into a place to avoid.
If you have the chance to visit in June or September, then do it: crowds will be back to their base and you will have access to this heavenly spot for yourself

Wonderful iconic place, very nice water. A short foot path goes to the beach from the main street. Highly recommended!
