Georgios, and staff offer super Greek food with a few added dishes international dishes . The friendly folk running this taverna make you feel very much at home and there is always a surprise on offer ,complements of the house. One of my favourite go back eateries,a good option if you want to escape the busy down town Skopelos.

Don't be influenced by what you see as you arrive at the car park! Go inside and find a choice of a lovely undercover area when it's blazingly hot or inclement, alternatively a beautiful open air area with some shaded areas for protection. We had sword fish and stuffed egg fruit and a Greek salad to share washed down with... More

The beach is down a set of stairs. Feels quite remote. Therefore it was pretty quiet. There's a very small section of umbrellas next to a tiny bar - but not much else. No toilets. Bar didn't serve any food apart from crisps. Small pebbles, a little bit sharp on my poor soft feet, but manageable. It's certainly not what... More

Stafilos is a small beach with a bar and sunbeds, these cost EUR 7 for a pair. We were staying in Stafilos so walked down one day to have a swim and a drink at the bar. If you are staying in the area with no transport then its a good option. If you have transport there are much better... More

There is bus at 10am from Skopelos Town to Stafilos Beach. It's a 10 minute bus ride (€1.60 pay as you board). From the bus stop it is a 5 minute walk down to the beach. The main beach has the usual sun beds and umbrellas for hire and a small bar. If you continue on to the end of... More

No toilets nearby means people getting creative. Bushes all around filled with dirty papers and.. stuff.

We did not stay on the beach but went to it and the surroundings one late afternoon. The scenery is so pretty! One needs to park quite away and walk to it. Lovely walk in pine trees, breathtaking views and then lots of steps down to the beach. Good for keep fit but some people might find the way back... More
