The artist Martin is fantastic. He is a wealth of information. His art work is beautiful. He has landscapes, portraits and works that capture the heart of the island.

The art work is lovely. Not as much variety as I would like to see for such a large open space. Easles placed around the space would enhance the experience while adding more choices. Once you have found the art gallery you are in for a treat, made to feel welcome, not harassed at all to purchase anything. All the art is by local artists, I bought 2 small original works. Some of the paintings are an acquired taste but well worth the drive along the highway.

Nothing much to see there one or two nice pieces, but in my book, nothing out of the box so to speak.

Martin Superville is one of Trinidad and Tobago's top artists . To see his work and meet him , go to his gallery . His original art work sells for many thousands , but you can buy prints for $100.00 US and under . www.tobagoartistgallery.com

The art is about Tobago and very local. But this gives one an idea of the island and the people. One of my favourite is Pigeon Point jetty. Always enjoy going there.

The paintings in the gallery were totally local, true depictions of the scenes and so very alive. You could actually imagine yourself being there...
