My partner and my teenage son love to pootle around in the river behind this beach and to swim in the sea. I love to sit in the very unassuming beach restaurant and read my book with an ice cold beer. Then we all have the freshest, tastiest, Bake and Shark for miles around - the lady who works there... We kept going and going and we finally found it. We paid 15 TT money to park and use the facilities. Just a parking lot, bathroom, and showers. We were the only ones there all day. We were warned the waters were rough. The waves literally knocked us off our feet. Great day at the beach.

One of the finest beaches/areas I have ever been to. Without a doubt, one of the most serene places. Steps from the rainforest, the ocean welcomes you.

Two ways to reach this beach. Through Arima and head to directions for Asa Wright Nature Center and continue on that road or take the North Coast road . The one through Arima is scenic as you can see the canopy above your head, see spring water running down the mountain, see parrots, fields of christophene vines etc. Your choice... More

This is a unique place, there is no other place quite like Blanchisseuse. The drive is scenic and breath taking. The village is unique and the water is just beautiful. You feel as if you are in another country here. So much places to visit and enjoy from a quiet corner bar to different beaches. Some private and only locals... More

At the very end of the road up north one finds a tiny caribbean gem. On one side the impressive Atlantic Ocean Shores and opposite a Lagoon. Although there was no snacks available and the facilities weren't much inviting, it's the perfect spot for everyone who cherishes nature and quietness!

At the end of the North Coast road and a few miles further than Maracas Beach, this beach is definitely worth the extra drive. Everything you want in a Caribbean Beach. Blue water, coconut trees and no tourists.

Blanchisseuse beach is ideal for the adventurous surfer or anyone who will enjoy the rough tumbling waves that are characteristic of this beach. Access to this beach is mostly available through a daily parking fee per car at $15TT per day. There are washrooms at the private areas where patrons can use, but it is not your top of the... More

A very beautiful and scenic beach. The drive to get there is long but the trip is worth it.The Marianne river is great for children. The sea is a bit rough but the water is beautiful and not too salty. I go there often. However more attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of the beach and its upkeep.It... More
