Beach is long, pretty but during Brazilian winter very quaint and empty. Waves are high so not much swimming is possible. We’ve enjoyed long walks and some rest. There are hardly any bars, restaurants and activities here.

The beach is lovely. The water temperature is perfect. We even saw a turtle and a group of dolphins. You can go for long walks enjoying the view. Overall the beaches were clean (though I did find some trash and plastic bags) which I was...More

Walk in the sand, swim at the northern edge where the water is easier or surf at the middle, where waves are a little more daunting makes this beach great!

Very peaceful and relaxing beach. The majority of the hotels is rustic and doesn't offer activities for young kids.

Really enjoyed relaxing here, good beach for all interests. Lifeguards on this beach ensure little ones are always watched. A must beach on the Bahian coast

If you are looking for peace and calm , this is your place. Almost deserted beaches, a few restaurants and pousadas and little else. Quite close is much more popular Praia do Forte, where you can get everything else: people, nigthlife, shopping.

Even though it is close to Praia do Forte, the sea isn't as shaky as that one. The waves are subtle, and the tide let's you enjoy a great amount of white sand.

We needed a place for my husband to rent and use a longboard to surf and this was the place. We spent 4 hours here basking in the sun, swimming in the water, and surfing -- it was fabulous. Since it was "winter", it was...More
