We had the chance to see this beautiful clock, and at the simbolic price of 2€ per adult you can enter inside and look at the mechanisms. A member of the family is always around to tell you a story of the place. nice!

The world's "first" biggest cuckoo clock. So it's not actually the biggest one. Still impressive to see, although for such a big clock, the cuckoo kind of dissapoints.

Low score reviews of this clock are by visitors who do not understand what they are looking at or really care. This clock Operates completely accurate with true operating bellow blown whistles and it is a real clock. While the Ebel clock in Triburg is...More

Waste of money and time.It was built by Josef Dold and his family in just 2 years (1977-1979). It is a traditional sample of a wooden farmhouse. It was the largest cuckoo clock in the world until the Eble Uhren - Park, very near in...More

We stopped in after seeing it from the road, not only was it 40 seconds ahead of time, but the whole thing lasted less than 20 seconds. The house itself is beautiful but €2/person felt like a rip off. 2km down the road in Triberg...More

Totally skippable. I know that 2 € (per person) is not much money but anyway it is not worth it. No explanations whatsoever. We arrived just in time to see the bird come out and the owner would not allow us to go in first...More

Interesting to see the giant clock work. 2euro is OK as entrance fee however I would only go there when in the village anyway nothing I would especially travel there for

It's nice to see the internal mechanism of the clock and the cuckoo is fun to watch but don't expect anything earthshacking. If it's on the way and it's the right time, by all means have a look, it's fun to watch.

This business in Schonach bills itself as the World's Biggest Cuckoo Clock. I'd put Eble Uhr's clock up against the size of this one. What is different is that this clock houses the business in a very small area of the entire inside of the...More
