No formal museum here! A collection of any and all methods of transport once used around Ireland, basically whatever they can get hold of, and a bunch of hugely enthusiastic volunteers who restore it all. I would bet that no two tours are the same!...More

On first sight this is a small, somewhat run down heritage railway that you may leave for the anoraks! But go further into the site and you will find a true Aladdin's cave - fire engines, planes, buses, ambulance, electric locos - even a hearse...More

Came across this by accident. Very interesting insight to various airplane cockpits, engines, locomotives old buses etc. Guided tours undertaken by really enthusiastic volunteers who are also involved in the restoration of the vintage vehicles and planes. Well worth a visit.

Having read Flanagan's book and seen a couple of other C&L sites while travelling round Ireland by boat my wife and I just had to visit this place when we finally moored in Dromod harbour. Describing it as a Railway Museum could lay one open...More

I don't know because I was part of a tour. My friend paid for a couple of us.. Suspect the cost would be very modest because the tour guides are both owners and passionate to show off their restoration projects. Well worth a... More
