Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When we visited Dinh Cau Rock, we saw quite a few locals playing in the waters on Dinh Cau beach. Many hawkers were peddling their wares and food along this beach. Quite a lively area.

The water was not as clean as other beaches. It was filled with locals in the evening. It’s nice to watch sunset and kids playing in the water. Some street vendors along the entrance of the temple. Was happy to find Vietnam pizza here.

This is a small narrow stretch of beach, roughly 400 metres long, starts by the Dinh Cau Temple and as far as Huong Bien Hotel, which is along the Western coast of Phu Quoc.
Tuesday 8th January and we were staying the night at Seashells hotel, in Duong Dong, with this small beach in front of it, there was insufficient space on the beach for sunbeds and umbrellas.
We walked along the beach, the short distance, from the Hotel to the Dinh Cau Temple (reviewed separately) and the harbour/Marina.
Initially it looked rather nice with golden sand, however once physically on the beach it was a different story. Sadly this part of the beach was rather dirty, rubbish and plastic bottles washed in from the sea.
Some really good rock formations near the Temple
