Went here for the afternoon and would definitely recommend. It has lovely gardens for a walk around. The house itself is good too.

Brilliant afternoon wandering around the beautiful gardens, whilst the car park was busy, there was still acres of space to still find the quiet, tranquil spot to relax and unwind. The house was great, felt a lot less like a museum and more like it...More

Arriving at the abbey during the holidays, it was very busy but there's plenty of car parking space available. The facilities and the restaurant were very good. There's plenty of choice for lunch. Then the grounds and the house were very well laid out with...More

The gardens are amazing and you can spend the whole day there. The restaurant is ok, a bit pricey for what you get but the garden has deck chairs in some locations where you can sit and picnic - certainly worth a thought if the...More

I visited with my friend and our two young children. We only visited the garden and didn't go into the house. I thought the entry fee was expensive for what you get. That said the gardens were lovely. Lots of space with deckchairs dotted around...More

Beautiful gardens, great walks and a cafe with nice coffee. Perfect. I visited with my family and we spent a lazy Sunday afternoon here. There's deck chairs for a picnic and lovely walks to a treehouse and play area for the kids. Everything here's great!

I booked in August 2016 for December. The tickets went very quickly. Either follow Anglesey Abbey on Facebook or if you are a NT member, sign up for email alert.

Hi have just checked on their website. Unfortunately they do not allow dogs in the house or garden. However if you go onto their website and scroll down their is a countryside walk close by.
