We saw Monkeys here!
Feb. 2020
We enjoyed this part of the tour from our cruise ship mostly for the Monkeys and Flowers. It was a small location to view the signal station and learn why it was there. Amazing and breathing views! We had a beautiful sunny day. Our tour guide was awesome and answered all our questions and knew so much information about that area. We really learned a lot. We didn't buy anything from the small cafe but they had nice seating in the area and music playing as well.

Interesting trip to a heritage site
Feb. 2020
We were very impressed with welcome we received, the enthusiasm and knowledge of the site of the member of staff on duty.
The station has been beautifully restored by the Barbadian National Trust. there are some interesting artefacts, and the use of the buildings is well described.
A sunny day is preferable to get the best views, but even when its overcast you can see for miles.
Definitely recommend a visit here.

Good views
Jan. 2020
Wait for a sunny day for some fine views over the island. There are quite a few steps and steep inclines, may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
There is a small café but we didn't use it.
If you are passing it is worth dropping in.

Interesting history, fantastic views, with plenty of space to chill and relax. There is nice cafe and bar, helpful staff. Well worth a half a day’s trip out

OK.. Not great
Jan. 2020 • Couples
Went visiting rather than another day on a beach.
The entrance fee is 12 BBD and it will take you 15 minutes at a slow pace to read the literature and take in the views.
We strung it out and had a coffee, as it started to rain.
Views were limited due to the cloudy weather and would have been better if it was sunny.
This is a stop off place for cruise tours and is OK if you have 15 minutes to spare.

Spectacular Views
Nov. 2019
Whilst this attraction isn't a full day event it does form a good attraction if your looking to do a bit of a tour of the island. With its elevated position it allows you have spectacular views. There is some interesting wildlife with huge caterpillars they even have some turtle/tortoises. Definitively worth visiting.

Gunn Hill A Must See!!!
Nov. 2019 • Family
The history of this place is amazing. Views are stunning. Best rum punch on the island. The one hour uphill bike ride is worth it though!!!

View from highest hill in Barbados
Nov. 2019
Unlike the Caribbean islands farther north, Barbados is not volcanic, and is much flatter than the northern islands. Gun Hill is watchtower, gun emplacement, and part-time jail, with a view of the large flat plains of the west coast. Climb the tower then get a drink or snack at the outdoor café.

Impromptu stop off
Nov. 2019
I called in at this location with family on the way back from Huntes Gardens.

The place is set in lovely, well maintained gardens and affords fantastic views of the coastline. You can spend as long or as little time as you wish here. It is quite a relaxing place if you wanted to stop and read or just chill.

The self guided tour is a low key affair but there is a lot of history to be seen here.

I am sure this is not a major attraction but for a short stop off on the way to or from another location it is well worth a visit.

The location can also be hired for special events and would make a fantastic venue for a wedding or birthday bash.
