We felt we had to visit this place to show how poorly the animals are treated. I came away feeling sick. They had other animals as well as monkeys kept in small cages. There was a sea Eagle in a small cage, God knows how he was caught. These animals should not be treated in this way, I am disgusted... More

I must admit I do like seeing monkeys and how they interact with the kids. We seen them in the wild in Sri Lanka and it was vastly different seeing them caged and chained here, whilst I understand everyone has to make a living, surely there is a better way to treat the animals under your care. The whole episode... More

Monkeys tied with a short chain around their necks, others in a cage. Did not see any animal abuse on my visit but can only imagine how they are 'trained'. Iguanas here also. One was on a lead with no more then 6 inches of movement. The other in small 3x3 cage. Quite disturbing for an animal lover to see

Do not go to this monkeyschool! Every animal was chained by the neck or in a very small cage without food or water. They were very skinny and is soon as the handlers would lift op their hands the monkeys would hide and show their teeth. You could see they were beaten. The cats were very scared and nervous. The... The poor monkeys all looks malnutritioed! They were so skinny with chains wrapped around their necks. Many had boils growing on their face. It was hell on earth for those poor monkeys. I must have bought 5 bags of water melons to feed them and even that was not enoUgh. They were starving and it's plain to see they are... More

we were very excited about the monkey show, but it was not at all exciting. it was more about coconuts and coconut milk extraction, than monkeys.

Please do not go to any Monkey show. One place at the island is even called Monkey Show Preservation Centre or something like that, so we thought they are actually trying to preserve monkeys. We paid 200 bahts entrance which is a lot for the prices on the island and it was horrible. These monkeys have 1.5 meter chains and... More
