An adventurous Illawarra Treetop Walk 1.5km walk through beautiful temperate rainforest with 500 metres of steel walkway nestled in the treetop canopy some 20-30 metres above the ground. The walkway culminates in Knights Tower, a spiral tower that rises to a breathtaking 45 metres above the forest floor. Then there’s the thrills and challenges of two confronting swaying springboard cantilevers suspended 25 metres above the forest floor which take guests to the edge of the escarpment. Most enjoyable n memorable experience on a Sunny Day yet the Treetop Walk surrounds icy cold buffeting wind🌴🍃highly recommended walk suitable for all fitness levels. Welcoming Treetop Reception staff are friendly & helpful; adjoining Souvenir shop & Cafe that has well setup dining hall, offers lunch menu, beverages; visitors coming with their own picnic packs are allowed to sit at the Cafe dining tables due to prevailing cold wind. Restrooms have hot water service

There are only 3 short zip lines beneath the canopy so no breathtaking views here. The guides spend more time explaining the ecology which covers the fact you could do these zip lines in under 15 minutes. Suitable for grandma

A little isolated.. though well worth the trip to get there. Spent about an 1.5 hours at the treetop walk. Luckily it was a clear day and you could easily see all they way to Port Kembla. At the top of the tower there are 3 viewing binoculars. They were quite powerful and there is no charge to use them. The climb to the top of tower is an adventure in itself. Regretted not taking the zip line package.. would do it as well if I returned. Save money book on line or use Klook. Went during the week in March and it was not crowded and the weather was great. While in the area you could visit Carrington and Fitzroy falls. Spectral with all of the rainfall.
