I bought an online ticket for 10% off, when I decided to fill a couple hours in the morning. They don't really explain the format of the experience online, but you first get ushered into a room for a presentation on Tjapukai culture with a Q&A at the end. Next we were taken to another room, with impressive technology and... More

After reading mixed review we went with some trepidation. To start off with the two people face painting didn't see very enthusiastic but as the morning moved along it became a lot better. My kids, 8 and 12, said they loved it so that's good enough for me. We all learnt a lot about the culture, history and specific tribe... More

We got picked up by our host Hillary, a delightful lady who taught us a lot about so many different topics, she is amazing. She drove us to the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and back safely on windy, dark and wet roads. The Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park is a very nice way to better understand the Aboriginal culture, although I... More

We went for dinner at the Night Fire show not sure what to expect. We had our faces painted upon arrival the meaning of each one was explained later on. The evening started with canapes (barramundi, emu or cucumber finger food) which were all really good, and entertained by a dreamtime story and didgeridoo. We were then taken to see... More

We were here 18 years ago as a newly married couple and had a great time. We now have a six year old and wanted to share this experience with him. It was a waste of time. First of all, the website made it virtually impossible to truly figure out what you were doing. I emailed with specific questions and... More

We had some doubts, given some of the reviews, but were very impressed. We had wanted to book online to get the 10% discount but you can't do that on the day. However, as seniors, she gave us 20% discount, and we also paid cash to avoid the credit card excess. We did the general daytime admission. This included a... More

We visited during the day and were part of a very small group as the park was not very busy at the time. Everything was very educational and the guide and performers were great. We honestly we're too sure what to expect of it and it was a bit pricey as others have noted, but ultimately we enjoyed our time... More

Really disappointed as I had high hopes for this cultural park from reading other reviews - I feel like I've visited a completely different place! Upon arrival we expected it to be really busy however no one was around and we were directed to the gift shop to wait for our tour to begin. We went in on general admission... More

My friends and I had really enjoyed the Tjapukai by Night activity. It was informative and fun at the same time. The fireball ceremony was a highlight in that evening and the food was also good. Highly recommended!

I have no words really! You were splendid. The couple of hours that we spent there were informative, fun, interactive and a huge huge learning. Every performer is a star. But my personal favourite is Jacob, loved how he played didgeridoo. Not one dull moment! You were awesome Tjapukai. Keep up the great work. Love! From India.
