This is a huge park with a really good range of slides to suit different ages and levels of bravery. The queues were not too bad - 20 mins maximum. Some lane slides we walked straight on. We bought tickets online in advance to be sure of getting in because the website said it was only operating at 50% capacity owing to COVID restrictions. Impressed with the safety - a briefing was given about precautions before you enter the park and there are loads of lifeguards and staff monitoring the slides. Once inside, extras are surprisingly cheap - only 2.5 euros for a lounger and two same for a parasol. This compares with 20 euros on the Cascais coast near Lisbon! Food and drink also reasonably priced. Facilities clean and no queues. Overall a great day. Our kids (12 and 9) loved it!

Very goog slides with a lot of adrenaline ! the queue for the slides was long but worth it. To avoid waiting you should try June or September instead of August which is always the park busiest month !

crazy water slides get ready for long queues but thrilling water slides. kids totally loved it!!!! but as an adult, this was hell on earth for me. some slides I would say can be dangerous for younger children. amazingly they allow attached action cameras, pity I didn't know ahead of time I didn't take mine with.

We spent a day at the Amarante water park, as it is very close to our holiday accommodation. We arrived a few minutes before opening time to find hundreds of people already there and queuing. It's definitely worth booking online before you go as the queue for those with tickets is shorter and moved very fast as soon as the gates open at 10am. The system for getting loungers and parasols was efficient and prices once you're in the park very reasonable, including food and drink. Beers and coffee are good; but take your own lunch if you can as the food is pretty dire. As every review says, the park got extremely busy. For the biggest and best slides the waiting time was around an hour in the afternoon. That said, the slides are good, the staff very friendly, the toilets cleaned frequently and a good time was had.
