I'm a history fanatic so I loved the trip to The Rizal's house. The place was well renovated after it was destroyed in the war. My only complain is that some guests touches the displays, so I hope that they put some sort of restriction...More

a historical site on the life Dr. Jose Rizal... beautiful home and makes you appreciate the life and family of our Philippine National hero. It also gives us a picture of the Filipino lifestyle in Southern Luzon.

Aside from the fact that he is our national hero, Jose Rizal’s life has been fascinating, to say the least. It was great to see the old domestic life packed in one amazing house plus the bountiful information presented in this shrine. One thing tho,...More

Great place to find out more about Jose Rizal and the history of the Philippines. Nice house, with lots of exhibits & a small shop. Very busy location though...

Visited Jose Rizal Shrine, looking for the place take time, suggest road direction be available. Well maintained place receiving guest and tourists. No souvenirs shop, and place to get good pictures. Maybe a good place to eat nearby is a good add on to tourists.

Pros: The place is relaxing, very historical, instagram-worthy place, you can learn a lot from the tour guide, you can roam around the main plaza of Calamba city, you can have a picnic in the backyard of the shrine Cons: Camera is restricted inside

This place needs to be improved. Maybe add more information about the displayed items. I hope they’ll clean the well - the water inside it is full of mosquitoes and wrigglers.

I've spent some of my College days here when I was still studying in Letran. We would tour lots and lots of students who would go on field trip to see this place. You would still be in awe with the things Rizal did for...More
