Both lighthouses are are really nice. The environment is kind of rough and windy. The old lighthouse has some kind of exposition of the under water life.

Nice to see the lighthouse lovely bay just round the corner and you can swim from the pier usually very windy.

They have a really good display that has a movie which details the history of the area and the maritime reserve that is helping the area. We were unable to go and visit the lighthouse at all.

We stayed at the nearby Princess hotel and walked to the lighthouse. There are two lighthouses there to look at. While there we had a nice break with a couple of coffees, orange juice and some home made cakes while seated on their roof top...More

The Lighthouse itself wasn't very interesting, but the adjacent salt pans were. The Visitor Centre was OK, but very small.

A nice destination after a walk either through the volcanic field or along the road through the banana plantations. There is a little gift shop and a bar/restuarant to catch a bite to eat.
