I did both summits solo on an early morning and had a packed breakfast (1st and 2nd!) atop both summits as a reward and to enjoy the views. There are printed colour maps at the start of the trail (I started at the one behind...More

This is a great day trip for views of the lakes. If it’s hot out please take plenty of water as it’s steep and long with no facilities of any kind. There is precious little shade and the Okanagan is bone dry in the summer....More

The title is incorrect. Should be Spion Kop Trail. Anyway, we started on the West side trailhead. Morberly Road off of Carrs Landing Road and follow signs to trailhead. Not a lot of parking spaces but there is a porta-potty. Good maps and markers throughout...More

This hike needs to be planned - it could be tough in hot weather, Good views from several points - especially near the summit. Trail generally in good shape - was surprised in one spot by a vehicle (way off road). Signposting is decent. One...More

Had a great hike, completely lost track of time, I walked many trails and was out for 4/5hrs. The view from the summit is breathtaking, just sat staring out, looking down on the lakes and hills.

Awesome to select how intense you want your hike to be by filling different colour tags on the trees. I recommend doing the hard hike to the very top beside the view is out of this world. Best view I've ever seen and I've seen...More

Great hike to get up there, well marked trails, great place to take your animals. Watch for other hikers, horse back riders and motorized vehicles.

From the road where you can park we hiked the Yellow trail to the Blue trail and the viewpoint, and back down. Took us 1.5 hrs. Nice view point. Easy to moderate hiking with good marking.

The paths are well marked, so if you find yourself on a path and there are no longer any markings then you have wondered off the walking trail. The walk is moderate. The views form the look-out are pretty good, but of course those from...More

This municipal recreational land has been long used by locals but seems to be mostly overlooked. Access is by parking in a couple of residential developments though there are a couple of trailheads from near-lake level for the very hardy. There are a variety of...More
