We only saw 2 types of bird. Might have just been the day... It was fun to walk the trails down from Hatley castle to the lagoon. The fish ladders are a neat feature.

We visited here many times with my daughter. She really enjoys the birds and the beach. A nice place to gather and spend a day with friends. Safe and good for kids.
