This is a fabulous place to visit ....kids would enjoy it as well as history buffs. The fort is well preserved and has signs explains things. Your can also do a guided tour or an audio tour. Nice to see and touch the big “weapons”....More

Yes, the parking is the same area, whether you are visiting the lighthouse or the buildings. Well worth the visit! And it is free this year, because of the Canada 150.

Hi Yes I think it was plus I think there was a ramp up to the actual house rather than use stairs.
