The signs guided me to see the local art exhibition which was running. The interior of this ancient church is strikingly bright, due to the very extensive windows, which showed off the paintings and craft work very well. I took the opportunity of buying two...More

Lovely old church.. Beautiful stained glass, old pews and cemetery.. The floors are original and some people are buried in the church floor.. Must see in New Romney!

We got married there in 1981 so can't be objective. Nice church, welcoming people, fascinating history: ask the person doing the tours why the steps are DOWN to the church!

Whilst visiting New Romney we visited St Nicholas' Church. Beautifully maintained but we felt it was rather austere and lacked the usual atmosphere we have felt when visiting other ancient churches. Still well worth a visit if in the area.
