Dear Sir, I am planning to drive up to Mount Fuji during last week of March 2017. May I know is a compact family car able to reach up to 5th station? And may I know is parking expensive up there? Is the toll still 2060 yen? Thanks James

The road is not open until April this year for coaches and tours. They may not allow cars up to the 5th station until later in the season or even May as it's not safe due to the weather and snow. I would check the Japan... More

Hi.. has anyone done a hike/climb to Mt Fuji - from what I can read above, it does not give much of information. Can someone help with specifics like itinerary, time taken to climb, how & where to make the reservations, etc - thank you in advance
