Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The exhibition was alaways very well selected from artists. Give enough spaces for the art pieces.

Especially on Mt. Fuji picturesfron many different direction can be seen in this museum.

This art collection of more views of Mt Fuji is impressive, and the building itself is a destination, with a nice cafe with stunning lake views. Well worth a stop when exploring Kawaguchi!

We thought the 800 yen entry fee was rather a lot considering the quality and quantity of the works. Expensive and not good value compared with other Japanese galleries. Our disappointment with the art was somewhat lessened by the superb architecture and siting of the building.

Visited on a clear crispy spring morning. The view from within the gallery of Mt Fuji, with the cherry blossoms in the foreground, were awe-inspiring.
Inside the gallery was the best display of Fuji art i have seen anywhere in the world.
Expensive entry fee yes...but the art that was on display, the view and the overall surround Zen feeling, created a lifelong memory.

This museum / art gallery had an amazing collection of hair combs and pins that are exquisite. While everything is numbered there is no English translation of what the pieces are which really detracts from the experience.

The museum only has 3 exhibition halls and costs 800 yen to get in which makes it an expensive attraction.
