Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge spans Lake Kawaguchi from north to south. At the south end of the bridge is Oike Park, and at the north end is Ubuyagasaki Cape, and from both you can enjoy the view from the shores of Lake Kawaguchi.
Opened in 1971, the bridge can be crossed by car, foot or bicycle. From the bridge, you can see Lake Kawaguchi and the majestic Mount Fuji below, making it a popular spot for spectacular views.

Most of people say this bridge destroy the view. Maybe that's true for economic growth and convenience. Some people take photo of Mt Fuji. We walked from New Century Hotel, passed this bridge, visited several temples, passed by the station, ate lunch and got some goodies in town and came back to the hotel. Quite a nice walk.

It has a good view of Mount Fuji. It will take approx 10-15 mins to cross the bridge but the view is always worth that time.

The bridge provides another spectacular view of fuji-san. It also can be crossed by walking. You can enjoy the great view of the kawaguchiko lake as well while crossing.

Stayed a night at a ryokan nearby this area during Dec. Very very beautiful place and totally recommended for peeps that wants to see Mt. Fuji clearly. Kawaguchiko is a quiet and sleepy town, so don't expect to do anything at night as there's nothing much to see and it's really dark and cold too. It's a place to relax, and the ryokan that I have stayed has a onsen Mt. Fuji view, which is amazing.

You can take the retro bus which is available in this area where it takes you to various lakes around Mt. Fuji (there's a total of 5 lakes), it's not expensive and it's worth it. There's a cable car nearby too, we took it and it takes us up to one of the hill and there's a even more beautiful view of Mt.Fuji. Totally recommended to take the cable car.

It is about a ten minute walk but the view is stunning so it might take longer if you take pictures.

Second place if you rent a bicycle. Go around the lake until you get to the bridge. You can take amazing panoramic pictures. We did. Was really stunning. So so so beautiful!
You can stop on the bridge. It's safe. You are not on the road.
