    A 20 minute trip around the lake

    Relaxing boat excursion

    Had a nice experience with my husband and young kids recently. The ride offered a very good view of Mt Fuji and the autumm foliage along the lake.

    Nice scenery

    The boat cruise last 20 minutes. It just take you out in the lake and return. You get a nice view of Mount Fuji from the lake. As we know, seeing Mount Fuji is very weather dependent.

    We took the boat as part of a whole tour. But the boat ride itself wasn't that expensive. It wasn't a speed boat but more like a small ferry.

    We booked thru TripAdvisor but due to bad weather the boat at Hakone was not available. Therefore the pleasure boat at lake Kawaguchi was free for us.
