I was in Goa for christmas with my kids and this was my 4th trip round this time of the year. The most exciting part of the goa trip has always been the "WaterSports" , but this time I was shocked to see the open loot by the operators there.Till last year there were ticket kiosks, prices were regulated and things seems to be legal but this time there was open for all.The vendors were quoting anything that came to their minds...mindboggling prices for example parasailing for 2 kids and 1 adult cost me 12000 Rs ( yess you read it right) . Similarly the jet ski ride was quoted at 2000-3000 ra for a minute ride. So guys,be very careful about if you are planning to do watersports .Negotiate hard before going for any ride and even during the ride they will keep throwing options to you ( to shell extra bucks) so be very cautious.
No doubt goa is no longer the preferred destination of people anymore due to this fleecing cluture that has been established there now ..The tourist season was bad this time due to thailand giving tough competition so everybody is trying to milk whatever they could!

It is one of the most beautiful, clean and serene beach. In spite of being in North Goa, it is not as crowded like Baga or Calangute beaches. Most of the people visiting here are the ones staying at Taj holiday Village and Taj Fort Auguda. The sunset view is absolutely stunning. During season water sport facilities are also available. Some shacks serving drinks and food open between October and April.

Beautiful beach near Fort Aguada . Maintained by Taj Group Hotels. Relatively less crowded. One can have delicious food at Hotels Taj Restaurant and take SPA facilities as well.

Though the beach is located in the bustling north goa it is silent one with very few visitors compared to other birth goa beaches..
The stones and rocks have been cleared now. Water sports is also available.
Located near taj it offers a clear pass to the beach through lower fort aguada.
Good for people wanting to spend silent time in beach watching the sea waves and sunset.

We were staying at the Taj resort and spa hotel right at the end of the beach . As you walked on the beach it was terrible the (golden sands) were just strewn with rubbish it was everywhere old shoes, nappies glass bottles paper plastic bags plastic bottles I could go on it was just awful there were no sunbeds that end or beach shacks so we had to walk about half a mile up the beach to find them. The rubbish did get less the further we walked but it was such a dis’s appointment. It seems to me it’s the elephant in the room that no one talks about

Sinquerim Beach is an absolute delight. We visited the beach for four days in a row, and all the four days offered four different experiences. The sun set is full and beautiful. The waves are safe enough to get into the waters, although a little steep after a few meters at the beach, its nothing dangerous. There are a few shacks on the beach, which caters to the traveler needs. The beach is clean, the crowds can get overwhelming as the remnants of the Aguada fort is on the beach. Lot of photo ops with the Taj Fort Aguada resort sitting on the cliff overlooking the sea. Totally, one more fantastic beaches of Goa.

Beautiful beach...very clean and less crowded. Most of the crowed are from two the Taj properties on the beach. It is safe to batch here, with lots of water sport options available. Few shacks are also available on the beach.

Beautiful beach with lower Aguada fort kissing the Arabian sea, making it unique. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset and sunrise from the top of round shape fort. You can also trek for 15 min to the left of fort to see the kaurati caves and devil's finger(rock formation) at the beach. Try water sports and boat rides from here to make your visit special.

Simple, beautiful and romantic beach. Less crowd when compared to other beaches nearby (Baga, Calangute etc.). Very clean, serene. Picturesque sunset. One can also take stroll along side Taj Holiday Village and reach ruined towers of Fort Sinquerim. You can spend a good time here. Few shacks are also available if you want to quench your thirst or satisfy your taste buds. Parking for 2 wheeler is 50/-. Must visit if you are staying in North Goa.

The beach is very clean and nearly secluded with few daily visitors. Folks who are there are mostly staying in Taj properties around the beach. If you like taking a swim in the sea its a great spot. Definitlely recommend

How clean is this beach? How clean is the sand to enter at least couple of feet in water? Can my kids enjoy waves here?
Written 30 August 2016
Hi,
Sinqerium beach is very clean during the season. However durig monsoon it gets difficult to clean the beaches as the ocean dumps a lot of garbage on the shores. Still it is one of the cleanest in the area.. Expect to find a couple of packs of chips, may be a few empty cans of beer, a few coconut shells n leaves in a 15-20 minute walk.. So its quit clean...
Sand here is very clean. Cant say about kids but me n my family go neck deep in the water here n its safe.... The sea is shallow in this area so no issues going inside for a couple of meters...

We are 2 swedish lades in Candolim and we will go to Agonda with boat. Can you take us to The place and how much did it cost us?
Written 23 January 2016
Hello Aspviken..thank you for writing. I am based in Central India, so will not be able to personally take you around.
Agonda is in South Goa and is about 70 kms from Candolim.
Have you checked with the local tour operators and how much they are charging?
It should not take you more than Rs. 1000/- per person if you are going on a 'group boat ride'. Negotiate
Hope that helps. Thanks
