We couldn't find the Domica Cave within Trip Advisor which is quite close to the Aggtlelek National Park but in Slovakia instead of Hungary. Our two couples visited the Domica Cave in May 18 and it was by far our best cave sightseeing tour in...More

This site is magnificent to see. The guide seemed to tell us a lot of information about the site (we could see his pointer located in all sorts of places). However, the guide only spoke Hungarian so we could not understand a word he was...More

The Aggtelek National Park is a stunning location for those who like unspoilt wildlife meadows, butterflies and bird life. There are also deep caves to visit and walks in river strewn gorges!

You can enter the cave from many locations. They have a lot of different tours to choose from. Whatever you decide on trying, the cave is fascinating and the formations are one of a kind.

The cave is very large and impressive. The sights are nice and the cold temparture was a great break from the hot summer day (close to 100F).

One of the best places to visit in Hungary, especially if you are into nature's creations. The cave tour has many highlights and it would fit all age groups in my opinion.

I would assess that the temperature in the caves remain fairly constant all year round although winter is bound to be somewhat colder.
