Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The church is located some 20-25 Km away from main city of Meerut district in a small place called Sardhana.
Beautiful construction, nice maintained garden and five entry gates in a line make it a different place altogether. It has got history of its own. If you have time and transport means, please visit. If passing through Meerut Bypass it is some 15 Km. Most of the road is good.
The place is open from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The sardhana Church, built by Begum Samru, has the honour of being designated as a Basilicca. The sculptures are unbelievably fascinating. A quiet retreat, it guarantees the visitor the feeling of calm, peace, wonder and the experience of being transported back in time.
A must-visit once place.

Basilica of Our Lady of Graces, also known as Churches among the Churches, is dedicated to Virgin Mary. The Church was built by Begum Samru, a Muslim lady who married a European mercenary soldier Walter Reinhardt Sombre. Samru converted to Roman Catholicism in 1781 and adopted the name Joanna Nobilis. She is regarded as the only Catholic ruler in India, and ruled the Principality of Sardhana in 18th and 19th century. The Church is the largest in North India.
The Church is based upon St. Peter's Basilica in Rome with touch of Palladio and some Indian architectural influence

This was my second visit to the attraction. This time I was lucky to get a guided tour.
The place is well maintained and has history of its own. The construction is fusion of many school of art. It is really a beautiful church and in November the number of visitors reaches many thousand.
Worth visiting.

This church is not within Meerut but is in Sardhana which is close to Meerut. Excellent piece of sculpture work can be seen here. A serene and pure place. This is really well maintained and a must to see if you are visiting Meerut.

I went to visit this beautiful church with a friend who was raised in Meerut. Be sure and get someone to take you around and tell you about the church. The entry path us to the church is beautiful and a lot of time could be spent on looking at these statues and reflecting on the crucification of Christ? Be sure and ask for a tour of the boarding school. My friend's sister in law and niece in law attended the school and we were given a tour by the head mistress of the school. It was great to learn about the history of the church and the school. Plan to spend at least three hours here if you your both.
