The length of this beach is well enough for kids and adults to spend and play more time. It is all our duty to maintain neat and clean after use. Not much depth on shore.

If it wasn't so cloudy I'd say more - but between clouds and people completing their morning ablutions - I'd rather enjoy the sunrise from a quieter spot - the landscape is stunning though and the colours vivid.

People should maintain cleanliness, otherwise Beach is ok but little rough, not recommended for kids.

It's a small beach with very poor maintenance. Looks dirty all around. Anyway if you are on a pilgrimage just peek in for time pass. There's nothing great.

The velankanni beach is good to see. But the beach is not clean. Lot of waste in the seashore. If gov take action to clean it is good place. There are lot of shop for handicrafts items.

At one end of beach it's crowded with tourists swimming, playing ;hawkers selling street food. But at the other end its pristine and peaceful. Avoid going too far though. Beach was clean.

The beach is next to the Basilica and needs no special trip but the beach is not smooth so do not try to swim in the sea

Ideal place to stay is MGM residency or Chandra palace which are best of the lot in that area
