Adjoining Krishna Mandap is this large , unfinished cave temple showing only six finished lion pillars and lion pilasters at either end . The brackets above the capitals of these pillars are decorated with lions and griffins with human riders . This temple is unique in a sense that no other Pallava cave temple has attempted a plan of having... More

Its a monolithic stone carving made in mahabalipuram, it is nothing to do with Mahabharata's pandav. If u buy ticket for panch pandav ,u can also eligible to enter shore temple in same day

Another road-side temple which, like many in Mahabalipuram, is unfinished. However, it is still a wonderful place with some beautiful work evident as well as providing some notion of how the work was undertaken.

We had visited this site located right beside Arjuna Penance during our sightseeing in Mahabalipuram. This site can be directly accessed from the road. Our guide told us that this is an unfinished cave temple dedicated to Pancha Pandav. We found no rock cut sculptures here.

This cave is by the road and along side the stone carving of Arjuna's penance. If you are interested you could peep in for a bit. The monument is incomplete owing to a war many centuries ago.

It seems to be a part of Arjuna's Penance because It is just left side of Arjuna's Penance. Inside, the carving is not as beautiful as you will see in Krishna Mandapam.
