This is just next to the Arjuna's tapas and opposite to the Sayanaperumal temple. supposed to be the resting place ( imaginary ) place of Pandavas.

These caves have been built as the sleeping quarters of the Pandavas next to the Arjuna's tapas panel. All these are only fictional as Pandavas never visited this side of the country.

Nice place to visit while your trip to mahabalipuram most attractive spots like temple near see shore.Nice sculpture on the stones.Good for once to visit and make a trip with friends.

You must visit this place when you are around Mahabalipuram.This place takes you to history of Mahabharat times.

Either the structures are incomplete or destroyed by some mighty rulers. In any case, you can click lots of photos around it.

Place known to be the caves of the five pandavas. Old rock structures reminding of ancient indian heritage

This is located in an wonderful area and you have to see this if you are in the area anyway. The reliefs have been protected from the elements.People touch the structure and feel of the culture.

This is found to the left side of Arjuna's Penance & is worth exploring. The inside back wall is covered with interesting vignettes of life including a cow being milked. Worth stopping to look at the detail. Also on a hot day it is a...More
