A good historical site with great views of the surrounding mountains. A shortish walk through the forest brings you to the site.

An ASI protected monument, it's the erstwhile capital of Sikkim. To reach this, it's a stiff climb through the woods, but once there it's worth the effort. There is a separate praying site, rooms etc- all spectacularly preserved. Well worth a visit!

One has to walk about 1 Kms through a forest terrain. Walk really justifies the beauty of the place. Ruins are nothing extraordinary but the place offer one the of best view of Kanchenjunga with crystal clear sky.

A historic place with great importance for people over there and in the history. Although, nothing too much to explore.
