Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I love this statue. I already watched some parts of the movie to know the story on background. I met many russian people taking photo and repeating the movie dialog

Never having heard of the film Mimino we saw this monument and immediately tried tracking someone down who could tell us more about it. We eventually were able to access a copy online and watched it and it was very amusing. Now 40 years since its release it seems like an endearing tale that would last forever. Now we understand the hype, have seen the movie and the tribute to it in Dilijan

We had a short stopover here during our day trip in Dilijan. The Monument to the Heroes of the Film Mimino is located next to the Tourist Information Center. I have not watched the film so I could not relate at all but just decided to join the bandwagon and posed for some souvenir shots. I was able to purchase some gift items at the Tourist Information Center which is nothing more than a souvenir shop.

Near gift store and restaurant — iconic characters from a soviet era road trip movie. Fun to have your picture taken with three old guys.

A sole attraction that we have visited at Dilijan as we have had chance to pass-by. The three characters holding hands and appear to be laughing over a joke. There is a sovereign shop immediately behind this attraction. This is located at a big square in the heart of Dilijan city.

Drove by this monument a hundred times, and still didn't get a chance to take a picture next to it. Such a cool piece of soviet art!

Do not stop here if you are not from former Soviet Union, born between 1940-1980. You will never appreciate the monument, as you don't know the story behind this and also did not watch the film. Even if you decide to watch the film now, it will not tell you anything, as you was not a part of that time.

And the opposite, for the category I mentioned, the monument is always recalling good memories.

Interesting if you have seen the movie. It represents the brotherhood between the three countries, Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.

judging from the statues turning ‘golden’ in parts as a result of people stoking them. Fun to see if you are familiar with the movie.
