Beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Buy the cable car ticket for two way. If you keen trekking then not required. Worth the journey from Guilin. The journey is so beautiful, the mountains are covered with clouds and there are small water falls on the way. The overall place and journey is scenic and beautiful.

Very beautiful scenery and hiking through he rice terraces. The paths are easy to walk on however there will be some stairs to climb up. Many photo opportunities on clear days. Plenty of food and rest spots. Try the bamboo chicken or rice, smoked bacons, and homemade wine.

Been here in end of September, the rice fields were not golden yet, just started. However the view is fantastic. We went by bus with a group, you can choose to climb with a guide what is definitely better than the cable car. The hike took us 1,5h but just because of some unfit Chinese fellas. Try the special bamboo... More

Definitely take the bus and enjoy these spectacular rice terraces! These are at the bottom of the terraces and for those who want to take a day tour and head back to Guilin. I recommend taking two days, ride the "chicken bus" to the end and hike to the top where you can stay in a hostel very reasonably. Our... More

The scenery and the rice terrace on Longji mountain is definitnely worth the bus ride out of Guilin. Once you get there you have to take another smaller bus to get up the mountain for a better view.
