Very nicely recreated tradition at this village

We spent a 1/2 day here saw show of dance recreation of the locals and wondering around. A nice change of pace from walking hiking the rice terraces.

This is a traditional village in the Guangxi mountain that is preserved for tourism. They even build new houses with modern material and cover them with wood. There is a daily show of local culture but it was only once a day in the winter. You see local women selling various trinkets. They are famous for their very long hair... More

This was a super cool experience. I read about the Zhuang Minority Village and the women who only cut their hair twice in a lifetime. Their traditions are still very much alive and their hair style speaks to whether or not they are married, single, have children etc. We drove several hours from Yangshuo and the last part of the... I went there with my wife during the mid autumn festival on a private tour. Our guide was Cindy from the Shangri La hotel travel service and she was a great host. The village is about 2.5 hours by car but you get to stop and use the toilets etc. The reason why we went there was because of the... More

They are ready to perform a nice show whenever there are 30 people to watch. every hour of the day. They say they are on a whatsup group, and when the manager decides to make a performence she calls all the other girls (about 20). and they, at the moment leaves every thing and come to make the show. Highly... More

Fascinating, walking up the hill to the Villiage watching the community tend their rice terraces, make tofu and sell their wares. The old Villiage is just that, and it's charm is tangible. We ate lunch in a local cafe, delicious fresh food, can't vouch for the hygiene.

Highly recommended to stop here on the way to Dao Zhai rice terrace. Have cultural performance & village folks selling souvenirs. Need to bargaiin to get good price, about half of original price. River is very clear. Overall very relaxing experience.

Amazing quaint village along the river. The "long hair women" will show how they fold their hair on top of their heads, really fascinating. Lunch at a local restaurant an experience, not so good and not very hygienic.

This is an iconic Chinese seaside village that has undergone commercialization over the last 30 years. There are many shops, restaurant, trinket stores, and Buddhist temple attractions. The largest Buddhist facility was undergoing renovation in April of 2015. The village has gondola rides on the twisting waterways throughout the attraction. Cost for a boat is about $20.00 USD and up... More
