When we arrived here it was literally pouring and we were a bit worried that we would not be able to get the view. But after our (very good) lunch in the VIP building the weather cleared and we had the most amazing views of...More

The place is overly touristic, all the local population is participating in the tourist business, and the views are not that spectacular (we've been shown some photos though suggesting the views are much more impressive in autumn). So if you travel by, it may be...More

We were on a day visit to the rice terraces and we took the time to wander through the village. It is a wonderful mix of the old and the new, old farmer's houses and new hotels. Unfortunately, the hordes of tourists are driving the...More

This is mixture of old unmaintained houses and new unfinished construction sites. All of that situated in the valley with the rolling rice fields around. Awesome scenery. Find the bar with cold foreign beer and nice outlook terrace. You will like Ping'An.

Traditional village with plenty of hidden paths and places to visit....lots of paths twist there way through the village and it's easy to get a bit lost but there are plenty of signs to help guide you. Some nice places to eat, drink and relax...More

This is a most interesting village. It has a maze of very narrow streets and staircases to navigate around, and welcoming smiles from the residents. A simply lovely place.
