The fort is very strong and nicely built. The fort is high to there are some 2500 around stairs to get there. The fort is smaller than others but it was a gateway during those times. The fort is at distance from Lonavala.

This fort is good and nicely maintained by locals. This fort is also famous among the trekking people. There are many food stalls outside the fort. There are some public vehicles which ferry round the clock.

It is a ruined fort, not good in shape right now. Just a waste of time. Nothing to do much or look at here. Though one could see the sunset view. But I don't think that is worth going for here.

The only good thing about the place is the view of the valley and being a good decent place for trekking.
