You have to climb steep stairs to reach there. Difficult for elder people. Even the stones are slippery and you need to be cautious. But what you find there is not worth the trek. Not well maintained...just a boundary wall and a few ruins. Yes...More

This fort reminds the times of chatrapati Shivaji. Though only ruins are remaining but visiting this place was a good experience. you can see ancient GUNs (Tops). Stairs inside the fort ,are not in good condition so one has to be careful.

We tried to drive to Lohagad fort from bhaja caves but road was very bad. The fort is situated at the peak with very sharp curves and bad road. So we ended the journet without visiting it.
