4 different falls...Raja, Rani, Rocket and Roarer make up the Jog Falls. The falls themselves are spectacular enough, but if you drive there from Bhatkal on the Panvel Edapalli highway, through the Sharawati wildlife Sanctuary, it is fabulous!!! Totally lonely drive of about 75 kms through thick forests and hills with very bad roads, but a drive to remember. The... More

Jog falls should be on your bucket list for sure. Be prepared to descend the 1400 plus steps, you get a whole new perspective of the falls

Great view. There is no food court and the restaurant is super dirty. But the view is totally worth the travel.

We went there while it was cloudy. And the fog had completely covered the view. But after about half an hour of wait, it rained, and the fog cleared. The whole crowd cheered as if Sachin has hit a six :) It was one experience we will never forget! Little crowded but worth a visit atleast once. Pure Vegetarian eating... More

Very nice waterfall, the area is hilly and covered in mist during monsoon, which I believe is the best season to visit. There are 2 sides to the falls, which is around 10 kms apart by road. You get a pretty good view of the falls from both sides. There is a walkway down the falls, which goes a long... More

This is a famous tourist destination with water falling from quite a height. Its considered the 2nd tallest in India with a plunge of about 250m. The stream is very thin in off season (other than monsoons). You can climb down all the way to the fall bed taking well maintained 1300-1400 steps. A big campus has been created with hotel,... More
