Rameshwara Temple is famous tirth of hindu's everyone wants to see jyotirling which was performed by lord rama. 22 well is also situated in the temple area also must see. temple dedicated to lord shiva.

A beautifully built historical temple situated on the bank of sea. 27 wells water make the men pure. full peace of mind and one of the tourist place in south.

Temple is located on rameshwaram island, temple premise is very large, on weekend there will huge crowd, it took about 2 hrs for dershan. there are 22 kund in which should take dip before going to temple.

located right near the entrance gate to Iruppu falls so ever visiting falls pay visit to the temple. Nothing much but a small temple

Well i did not expect to take too much bath on that day but i did as there is a long procedure to take bath in ocean and the in 22 wells also known as holy bath. It was a fun day. First u can go before 6 am and get "mani darshan" in the temple. Then go for ocean... More

It takes Rs.50.00 by auto from Rameshwaram Railway station to this temple. Take the ticket for Kund Snan (Bath). It is Rs 25.00 per person. Leave you footwears outside the temple. Prefer dhoti because it become wet when you take bath in 22 kunds. All kunds are serially numbered so no need to ask anybody. Just follow the path. Every... More

Worth visit. Temple is good. Nice history. If you visit during weekday it will be nice too visit. Advise ṭo take a guide. Morning hour will be a perfect time.
