We have been traveling in a private car; we drove around the lake and discovered an ancient Mongol garrison made of earth and bricks . A gorgeous site. You will find silence and peaceful atmosphere there. So rare in China

Many tourist. The lake is not as beautiful as what I expected. Possibly, there are too many beautiful scenery in Xinjiang, and make the beautiful standard very high.

Lake is just awsome. Physically its located on G30 road to Yining/iLi and further Kazikistan. So more accessable and convenient from Yining instead Bole I think. At the lake enterance there are many hotels, restaurents and shops. I guess June to August is best time...More
