This is a reasonably attractive scenic area that is by no means strenuous to hike. However, some of the stone pavers are irregular. Great walk and not too strenuous. Enjoyed walking over the pass and seeing the different defense positions and also all the farming, especially the tea harvesting and Rape plants in full flower

This is supposedly where one of the fiecest combat between Chinese (KMT) troops and Japanese troops took place and where the war turned around.
