I had been here before on a special private tour! I took my friend for her visit.
There are now translations in English that make the visit more meaningful for non-French speakers.
Also, I would recommend walking through the cemetery across the road .
The abbey looks great from outside, but the inside contains mainly empty rooms. The video on its history was in French with Spanish subtitles-no good if you only speak English. The various rooms do have info in English. 20 minutes is enough to see everything....More

The building and associated history were particularly interesting but access to some parts of the building were restricted due to restoration works.
